This festive season, the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) invites everyone to come together for Gifts from the Heart — a community gift-wrapping celebration of kindness and joy.
Every contribution this festive season supports SRC’s local humanitarian efforts for seniors, children and youth, persons with disabilities, families-in-need, and those who fall through the cracks of social services.
As part of the Be Our Champion for Humanity campaign, donations will be matched by Tote Board.

Phyllis’ Story
Born with Angelman Syndrome, 27-year-old Phyllis Lim Yin Xin has thrived at the Red Cross Home for the Disabled (RCHD) since 2009, where round-the-clock care, therapy, and engaging activities have brought joy and growth into her life. For her mother, Mdm Tang Geok Huay, entrusting Phyllis to RCHD was a difficult but necessary decision, and today she has peace of mind knowing her daughter is safe, loved, and supported. Despite communication barriers, the dedicated staff understand Phyllis’ subtle cues — her smiles, claps, and laughter — reflecting a life filled with warmth, compassion, and the transformative power of care.
Benedict’s Story
At just 15, Benedict* has shown remarkable discipline and resilience, overcoming the challenges of dyslexia to excel in school and pursue his dream of becoming a trader. With a strict daily routine and unwavering determination, he balances study, exercise, and personal growth — all while supporting his family. Through the Singapore Red Cross’ Young Hearts Programme, Benedict found guidance, mentorship, and hope, proving that with encouragement and opportunity, every young person can rise above obstacles. With your support, more youths like Benedict can have the chance to shine.
