First aid, CPR and AED skills are valuable for individuals, workplaces and communities. Over the years, Singapore Red Cross Academy has championed first aid training in Singapore, equipping learners with the confidence and practical skills to respond during emergencies.

Towards the national goal of having one first aider in every home, the Academy offers a range of First Aid & Resuscitation courses for different ages and needs, including basic first aid, standard first aid, child first aid, occupational first aid, cats & dogs first aid  and refresher courses.

Basic Cardiac Life Support + AED Instructor Course

  • Duration: 16 hrs (2 days)
This classroom-based training course equips Trainee-Instructors with the competencies to teach BCLS+AED Provider Courses. Upon completion, Trainee-Instructors will be able to instruct competently as a BCLS+AED Instructor, in compliance with industry standards, focusing on subject matter topics shared by the Chief Instructor-Trainers.

Occupational First Aid Instructor Train-The-Trainer Full Course

  • Duration: 32h (4 days) + up to 70.5h practicum
This classroom-based training course will equip Trainee-Instructors with the competencies to teach the Approved Training Syllabus of the OFAC based on the MOM Technical Notes Course Reference Matrix. Upon completion, Trainee-Instructors will be able to instruct competently as a First Aid Instructor, in compliance with industry standards, focusing on subject matter topics shared by the Instructor Trainers.

  • Duration: 24 hrs (3 days)
This classroom-based training course equips Trainee-Instructors with the competencies to teach Standard First Aid (SFA) Provider Courses. Upon completion, Trainee-Instructors will be able to instruct competently as an SFA Instructor, in compliance with industry standards, focusing on subject matter topics shared by the Chief Instructor-Trainers.
