DataKind lent skills and expertise in data analytics to help improve efficiency of bloodmobile operations. To improve the efficiency of community blood drives with better projections for blood collection at each site, the Blood Donor Recruitment Programme (BDRP) is keen to identify key factors influencing blood collection by tapping on the large amount of data accumulated since 2001. DataKind transformed the raw data into valuable insights and created a possible predictive model for accurate projections. This allowed for maximisation of resources allocated across all bloodbanks and blood drives, which enhances the donation experience for the blood donors. Find out more about them here. |

LoveSingapore unites all who love Singapore to give blood during the Good Friday and Easter period. With this motivation, LoveSingapore started Drops of Life in 2016, and the blood donation drive is held over the Good Friday and Easter period annually. Churches in the LoveSingapore network continue to support the National Blood Programme by organising regular blood drives and influencing family, friends, neighbours and colleagues in their circle to donate blood.
