As the excitement of Lunar New Year began to fill the air, our elderly beneficiaries from the ElderAid programme gathered for a heartwarming Lunar New year luncheon, a celebration made possible by the generous support of Carlton Hotel Singapore.

The celebration unfolded in Café Mosaic where laughter and warmth filled the air! Our ambassadors Sheila Cheong & Priscilla Chan, and the team at Carlton Hotel Singapore did not just host; they sat beside our seniors and raised chopsticks for a spirited lohei, and exchanged wishes of longevity, good health and prosperity.

The buffet spread was nothing short of festive, our seniors enjoyed fresh seafood, beloved local favorites and Hong Kong-style delights. But beyond the delicious food, what truly mattered was the warmth in the room.

The smiles didn't end with the meal as each of our seniors headed home with a festive goodie bag to keep the celebration going. The ElderAid programme supports seniors through befriending, eldercare, first aid and psychological first aid, building resilience so that they can age confidently within the community. But days like this shows that resilience is not built by services alone. It is built by relationships.
