Fan Communities Embraces Blood Donation as a Way of Giving Back – ENHYPEN & ENGENES Take the First Step

SRC ENHYPHEN Launch Post 1

SINGAPORE, 2 JULY 2026 – The Singapore Red Cross’ (SRC) youth blood donor club, YouthInspire, is partnering with global K-pop sensation ENHYPEN in a collaboration to inspire more youths to begin their blood donation journey, turning the passion for fandom into a force for good.

Launched in 2024, the YouthInspire club has been encouraging youth aged 16 to 25 to support the National Blood Programme through the building of connections, organising events and campaigns, and participating in volunteer work to champion blood donations. As part of their continuing  efforts, YouthInspire is working with Belift Lab, ENHYPEN’s agency, to raise the awareness of blood donation and  bring K-pop fan culture into the blood banks. Through this collaboration, YouthInspire hopes to encourage more fan communities to embrace giving back to society by incorporating activities such as blood donations in fan cafes and dressing up the current decentralised network of bloodbanks to attract new generations of blood donors.

From 6th to 25th July, successful blood donors can receive one limited edition set of exclusive ENHYPEN photocards featuring all six members, while stocks last.  To participate, donors may flash the SRC’s post on social media and fill out a registration form at the point of registration for their blood donations at any bloodbank. Successful donors will receive one photo card set as a token of appreciation.

Throughout the campaign, SRC’s social media account @heybloodbuddy will also share messages of encouragement from ENHYPEN, inviting their fans - ENGENES, and youth across Singapore to be part of the blood donation journey.

As part of the collaboration, Bloodbank@HSA, Bloodbank@One Punggol, Bloodbank@Westgate Tower, and Bloodbank@Woodlands will feature life-sized ENHYPEN standees, creating photo opportunities for donors and visitors.

When fandom meets community impact

Taking the collaboration beyond the bloodbanks, YouthInspire will also partner with Cafe BomBom to present an immersive ENHYPEN-themed fancafé experience in collaboration with Café BomBom.  This partnership celebrates the spirit of giving to transform ENGENES’ shared love into a collective effort to support blood donation awareness.

Designed to blend pop culture with social good, the event aims to show how youth can come together to create a positive change. Through interactive photo spots, themed activities, and a lucky draw, participants can experience the excitement of fandom while learning more about blood donation and community service. This unique experience will be available exclusively to YouthInspire members whether they are seasoned blood donors, first-timers, or simply passionate about the cause.

Prakash Menon, Group Director, Blood Donor Programme, Singapore Red Cross, said, "Fan communities have been known to demonstrate great passion and solidarity for efforts they hold close to their heart. Through this collaboration, we hope to channel that same energy into saving lives by inspiring more youth to take their first step in donating blood. We also hope this initiative will encourage other fan communities to come together to embrace blood donation as a meaningful way of giving back to society and supporting causes and groups that they care about.”
