The Singapore Red Cross (SRC) 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held at Red Cross House on 27 June 2022.

SRC Chairman Mr Tan Kai Hoe shared in his opening remarks, "We are grateful that you have chosen the SRC as your preferred organisation to be a part of in your own humanitarian journey to do good. We must work together to continue mobilising additional resources, financial, expertise and time to intensify and expand our support for vulnerable communities in Singapore, regionally and globally. Working together as members, volunteers and staff of SRC, we will continue to strive to build empowered, responsive and resilient communities, well into the future."

At the AGM, the members approved the Audited Statement of Income and Expenditure and the Audited Balance Sheet for SRC for the period 1 January to 31 December 2021, as well as the Annual Report of SRC 2021. Additionally, the AGM approved the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Statutory Auditor for 2022.

On behalf of the Members, the Council and the Management of the SRC, the Chairman thanked Mr Allan Yeo and Ms Roshini Prakash Nair for their invaluable contributions and support, as they stepped down from the Council, having served six years as Council Members.

Ms Tan Poh Hong, Mr Ling Khoon Chow, Dr Saiful Nizam Bin Subari, Ms Agnes Eu and Dr Mohd Zaidi Bin Ariffin will continue to serve their term as Elected Members of the Council till June 2023. Mr George Goh, Ms Terene Seow, Mr Dennis Mark and Ms Emily Tan were elected to the SRC Council at the Annual General Meeting held on 27 June 2022 for the term of office 2022 - 2024.   

Dr Yap Kwong Weng, Mr Koh Yat Chung, Ms Tracey Woon, Mr Muralli Raja Rajaram, Mr Steve Lee, Dr Ganesh Ramalingam and Ms Usha Chandradas will continue to serve their term as Appointed Members till June 2023.  Mr Puvan Ariaratnam was newly appointed to the Council for the term of office 2022 - 2024.

The Council will now comprise 19 members (including the Chairman and Secretary-General), with nine elected members and eight appointed members. This is the full list of SRC Council Members as it now stands.
