Knight Frank Property & Facilities Management (KFPFM) sponsored care packages for 162 Singapore Red Cross' ElderAid senior beneficiaries in Tampines.   

"At Knight Frank, we strongly believe in giving back to the community and blessing others. Our KFPFM employees organised a fundraiser which raised $3,600," said Ms Nicole James, Senior Team Executive, Knight Frank Property & Facilities Management. 

With the $3,600 raised, KFPFM employees purchased items such as milo, tea, coffee, tissue, healthy instant noodles, biscuits and oats. Over 30 employees assembled 162 care packages for the SRC's ElderAid senior beneficiaries on 4 July. Twenty-eight employees, including KFPFM's Head of Corporate Services & Managing Director of Strata Management, distributed the welfare packs on 6 July 2024. 

"Distributing welfare packs directly aligns with our objective to give back to our community, particularly those in need," said Ms James. 

The seniors were grateful for the care packages.

"It was raining that day and I thought I had to brave the rain and slippery ground to get to the supermarket to purchase some items. I was happy and excited to receive the care packages comprising goodies delivered to my doorstep. I was relieved that I did not need to step out. It was great timing. I also fell in love with the bag, as I can use it for marketing," said Mdm Cheong, 78, an ElderAid beneficiary.

Singapore Red Cross appreciates Knight Frank's fundraising initiative and sponsorship of the care packages for the seniors. Besides alleviating their financial burdens, the care packages provide useful items beneficial to seniors, particularly seniors with mobility issues.
