Keen to enhance mental resilience? Look no further. In commemoration of World Mental Health on 10 October, the Singapore Red Cross Academy's Centre for Psychosocial Support launched three new programmes: Mental Well-being @ Workplace, Resilience Skills for Everyday Life, and Mental Health Literacy.
Mental Well-being @ Workplace
For corporate professionals handling employees, ensuring the mental well-being of employees is not just a priority - it is essential for sustaining a healthy and productive work environment. With the workforce spending significant time at the workplace, the challenges faced may negatively impact morale, leading to high absenteeism, high turnover, and lower productivity.
The Mental Well-being @ Workplace is designed for corporate professionals managing teams. In this comprehensive four-hour course, corporate professionals will learn effective strategies to enhance employee engagement, strengthen organisational resilience and bolster productivity while fostering a supportive work environment where employees feel valued and motivated.
This course is aligned with the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH)'s theme 'It is Time to Prioritise Mental Health in the Workplace', the theme was the result of a global vote with over 2,000 participants from 116 countries. The IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) also adopted the theme. Mental Well-being @ Workplace reflects the awareness of an urgent need to prioritise the well-being of workers, acknowledging the critical role workplaces have for living a fulfilling work experience and overall life enjoyment.
