We attended an art-jamming session where the Young Hearts’ children took time to express their appreciation to the mother figures in their lives. 

As family-friendly pop-tunes blared from speakers at the Young Hearts’ Tampines Centre, the kids took a break from their usual academic rigours and settled in with crayons and markers. With Mother’s Day approaching, the YH staff had thoughtfully prepared cards for the kids to transform into personalised love letters to the mother figures in their lives. Instead of physical flowers, the children took to drawing and colouring in beautiful blooms on paper for the special women in their lives to show their appreciation and love for those who cared for them.
