Our 42nd Annual General Meeting took place on 27 June 2016, 6.30pm at Haw Par Hall, Red Cross House.

Our Chairman Mr Tee Tua Ba delivered his remarks (hyperlink to PDF) to the members in attendance.

Members approved the Annual Report and Audited Financial Statement for 2015.

On behalf of the Council, Chairman welcomed onboard Mr Tan Chong Huat, Mr Tan Kai Hoe, Mr Allan Yeo and Ms Roshini Prakash Nair.

Chairman thanked the following members - who are stepping down from Council - for their contributions during their term.

Mr Axel Chan, who served as a Council Member from 2007 and was appointed Vice Chairman from 2010 to 2016. He also served as a Member of the Corporate Governance & Nomination Committee since 2012 and will continue to serve in this Committee

Mr Han Eng Juan, a long serving Council Member (1992 to 2001 and 2006 to 2016). He served as Chairman of Audit Committee from 2010 to 2016 and Chairman of Finance Commission from 2006 to 2009. He was Chairman of the Finance Commission from 2006 to 2009. He was a member of the Finance Commission from 1997 to 2005. Mr Han will continue to serve as a Member of the Finance and Investment Committee.

Mr Edwin Seah, who served as a Council Member and Chairman of Human Resource and Compensation Committee (HRC) from 2014 to 2016. He is also a Dy Director of the Red Cross Youth and a Steering Committee member. He was a Member of HRC from 2012-2014. Mr Seah will continue to serve on the HRC, RCY Steering Committee and SRC Management Committee.

Mr Mohammad Zaidi Bin Ariffin, who served as a Council Member from 2010 - 2016. He has been an active member of the RCY and represented SRC at many international Youth Conferences and Meetings. He is also active the the regional Movement Youth initiatives. He will continue to serve on the RCY Steering Committee and the SRC Management Committee.
