Taiho Pharma Asia Pacific, an R&D-driven speciality pharmaceutical company, generously sponsored and delivered a year's supply comprising 120 cartons of sanitiser sprays, Efil 300 ml (18 bottles per carton) to the Red Cross Home for the Disabled (RCHD) and the Day Activity Centre for the Disabled (DAC) on 7 June.
Effectiveness of the Efil Disinfectant Spray
Made in Japan, the Efil disinfectant sprays provide 24-hour protection against bacteria, germs, and viruses (including Influenza and COVID-19 viruses) by drawing on the powerful antimicrobial properties of silver and zinc ions, a unique formula made possible by original technology. Efil has also been tested via a battery of tests which yielded at least 99.9% effectiveness against germs, ensuring the hygiene and cleanliness of the RCHD and DAC premises.
"Through this initiative of providing Efil disinfectant sprays to RCHD and DAC, we do our part by reaching out, providing supportive care and contributing to the wellness of the vulnerable groups in our community who need it the most. When we keep the environment clean and safe for the vulnerable residents, employees and caregivers at RCHD and DAC, we give them peace of mind as they go about their daily activities. Their well-being and smiles bring us great joy and satisfaction in what we do. This is our driving force for sponsoring Efil to RCHD and DAC," said the spokesperson of Taiho Pharma Asia Pacific.
Aligning with its Corporate Philosophy of Improving Health
This driving force to sponsor Efil to RCHD and DAC is aligned with Taiho Pharma Asia Pacific's corporate philosophy and Corporate Social Responsibility.
"As a company focusing on oncology, allergy and immunology, and urology, Taiho has always aligned our activities with our CSR objectives and corporate philosophy - we strive to improve human health and contribute to a society enriched by smiles," said the spokesperson of Taiho Pharma Asia Pacific.
"We thank Taiho Pharma Asia Pacific for its altruism. Its contribution of a one-year supply of Efil disinfectant sprays creates a healthier and more conducive environment, safeguarding the physical well-being of our RCHD residents, DAC clients, caregivers, volunteers and employees," said Mr Adrian Lim, Director, Care Services, Singapore Red Cross.
