Equipping DBS Employees with First Aid Knowledge & Skills

The Singapore Red Cross Academy's (SRCA) Centre for First Aid and Life Support partnered with DBS Bank for Work Better Day 2024 from 7 to 9 May, empowering over 500 employees with life-saving knowledge!

The sessions were held across various DBS Bank premises in Toh Guan, Changi and Marina Bay Financial Centre.

After being trained in first aid, participants administered Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation on Sherpa-X mannequins and put their first aid knowledge and skills to the test in scenario card activities. 

DBS employees walked away with useful first-aid skills and knowledge. To build a resilient community, we hope more organisations will partner with the SRCA to equip their employees with lifesaving skills. 

Shangri-La Employees Pit Their Skills at a First Aid Competition

Singapore Red Cross Academy's (SRCA) Centre for First Aid and Life Support (CFALS) organised a First Aid Competition for Shangri-La employees at Hotel Jen Tanglin on 13 May. 

The employees pitted their first aid skills against one another by dealing with a seizure, a broken arm, a shaken family member, and an unconscious stranger. The championship provided a platform for collaborative learning while establishing the first aid ecosystem in Singapore. 

After putting their first aid and psychological first aid skills to the test, the employees received adhesive plasters magnanimously sponsored by 3M Singapore.
