Your quality donations and contributions enable us to continue providing much-needed support for underserved and vulnerable communities in our midst.

Please note that we are no longer accepting donation drop-offs. For more information, please email shop@redcross.sg.

WHAT CAN YOU DONATE?

Here are some guidelines on what you can donate. In general, we accept items which are clean, undamaged and in good, sellable condition. We reserve the right to decline items that do not meet our criteria.

Donation Item Guidelines Shop

Fashion items - We welcome clothes, bags, shoes and accessories of all shapes, ages, sizes, styles and brands. We do not accept undergarments unless brand new and unopened.

Toys - We accept toys for all ages, board games, puzzles and the like. For soft toys, do consider the hygiene and ensure your donation will be appreciated by a potential buyer!

Kitchenware - Cookware, utensils and crockery are accepted. Due to safety and hygiene reasons, we prefer if these items are close to new in condition.

Electronics - We accept all kinds of electronics and gadgets, from phones, tablets, and readers to headphones and earbuds, cameras, laptops, and related accessories. They should be in working condition and, if applicable, be reset to factory settings. We don’t accept large appliances.

Toiletries & Cosmetics - We only accept toiletries and cosmetics that are brand new and unopened, preferably in original packaging.

Non-perishable food items - We accept food items that are unopened and packaged, with clear expiry dates indicated on the packaging with a remaining shelf life of at least a month after the date of donation. Please avoid donating food that requires specific storage conditions.

Home decor - We accept all kinds of home decor as long as they aren’t too bulky.

Bulky items and whitegoods - Due to space constraints, we are unable to accept bulky donations like large furniture pieces or whitegoods.

WHAT WE DON’T ACCEPT

Generally, we don’t accept religious, illegal, offensive or potentially dangerous items (such as knives, flammable gas canisters etc.). We also don’t accept alcoholic items, tobacco, drugs or medication, or any other contraband items.

By adhering to these guidelines before donating, you are helping us tremendously, as we will allocate less resources to sifting out unusable items.

Please contact us at shop@redcross.sg if you have any questions. Thank you!
