Humanity Beyond Today is the theme of Humanitarian Week 2026, a week-long series of engagements organised by the Singapore Red Cross that brings together humanitarian leaders, government agencies, academia, private sector partners, volunteers, youth and the wider community to explore the issues shaping humanitarian action today.
Through a combination of public programmes and stakeholder engagements, Humanitarian Week creates opportunities to exchange perspectives, strengthen partnerships and encourage meaningful conversations on trust, humanitarian diplomacy, compassion fatigue and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Together, these engagements reaffirm the enduring relevance of humanitarian principles and our shared responsibility in building a more compassionate future.
Whether you're a humanitarian practitioner, volunteer, student or simply passionate about humanitarian issues, we invite you to be part of the conversations taking place throughout the week.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Youth Dialogue 2026
As part of Humanitarian Week 2026, the IHL Youth Dialogue: Humanity Beyond Today, is an interactive, youth-led experience that creates an accessible and dynamic space for participants to explore humanitarian principles through guided activities and facilitated discussions.
Designed for youths aged 15 to 35, the dialogue aims to challenge the perception that International Humanitarian Law (IHL) is overly technical, distant or no longer relevant. Instead, participants will explore how its principles continue to shape responses to today’s humanitarian challenges while deepening their appreciation of humanitarian values in an increasingly complex world.
