Here are some tips on how you can prevent some accidents to occur at home!

Fall

  • Avoid placing large objects in corridors.
  • Do not use a chair or a stepladder to gain height. If you do so, make sure someone helps you.

Drowning

  • Never leave a child alone next to a pool or in a bath tub without supervision.

Electricity

  • Do not touch any electric device or electrical cords with wet fingers
  • Do not put a glass with liquid near an electric device.
  • Do not overload your power point – too many devices wired at the same location will cause an
electrical voltage that may generate a fire.

Poisoning (Drug/Chemical/Food intoxication)

  • Make sure your cleaning products and medicines are stored in locked closets high and out of
    reach to children.
  • Make sure you wash your hands before and after handling food.

Injuries

  • Ensure all sharp or cutting objects are carefully stored.

Choking

  • Make sure small objects are stored out of reach from children.
